The Village of Georgetown

Active Adult Community

Windsor Gardens Senior Living has announced the development of The Village of Georgetown, an active adult community to be located at Hwy 460 Bypass and Lemons Mill Rd in Georgetown, KY. The Village will include villas that are specifically designed for active senior adults and commercial out-parcels for restaurant and service providers.

The Village will offer a unique atmosphere with the integration of a walkable neighborhood, clubhouse and commercial out-parcels for restaurants and service providers. Over seventy (70) single story villas will be built with pedestrian-friendly front porches and sidewalks to stroll to a central clubhouse. The Villas will have a diversity of floor plans including 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, vaulted great rooms, sunrooms, screened porches, open kitchen plans with bars, 1 and 2 car garages and no steps.

The Community Clubhouse will be located adjacent to an existing water feature and will create a social center for the residents. It will include a Gathering Space, Serving Kitchen for community events and resident support, a wellness area and office support for on-site community activities coordinator and maintenance staff.

The commercial out-parcels will house restaurant and service providers with visibility to the bypass and walkability for Village residents.

The Village residents will enjoy a la carte services including food service, housekeeping and onsite property management, emergency call, fire alarm monitoring and personal care provided by Windsor Gardens Senior Living.

The Village of Georgetown will invest over $30,000,000 to develop the property over a 5 year period. Phase I will begin in 2020 and will include the first villas, outparcel pads, and clubhouse. The Villages will be developed and built by Matt Welch Development and operated by Windsor Gardens Senior Living.
